Guidelines for GUMC Craft Boutique 2009

- Mail applications and photos of your product and booth set up to Grace United Methodist Church – Esther Circle, 3700 Cottage Grove Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311. Checks should be made out to Grace United Methodist Church with Esther Circle Craft Boutique written in the memo. Application deadline is September 1st. No refunds will be given after October 10th.
- New handmade crafts and boutique items only. No pre-owned items. Handmade items must be created by the exhibitor and not a third party. We are also accepting applications for home-based party products. Spaces in certain categories may be limited in order to provide the most variety for shoppers and better sales opportunity for exhibitors.
- The church will provide two chairs for each crafter/consultant. Name tags will be issued.
- Please cover your table(s) and create a professional presentation. You will need to provide floor protection for your table(s) for any heavy items. Displays are limited to the 6’ x 8’ space. If you need more room, reserve extra spaces.
- The tables are the property of the church and will be set up and taken down by the church. Exhibitors are completely responsible for their own displays.
- We will not supply extension cords. A limited number of spaces are available with electricity. Reserve your space early.
- Spaces are assigned by the Esther Circle Craft Boutique Committee.
- Vendor set up will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, October 16. A ticketed preview sale/reception will take place Friday evening from 7-8:30 p.m.
- Church members will be available to provide relief for short breaks.
- You are requested to stay for the entire show. NO EARLY TAKEDOWNS!!
- You must provide your own change.
- State law requires that you collect and pay a 6% sales tax.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the church buildings or on the church grounds.
- There will be a $2 door donation with a food coupon given back for the donation.
