Are you ready to explore your faith through an out-of-this-world experience? Get ready to blast off during Galactic Blast! Our mission is clear...have fun while learning about our faith, God and how to live our lives as followers of Jesus. There are many stops on our mission including:

The Good News Galaxy - Bible Story Time
Mission: Heifer Project - Mission Project
Moons & Tunes - Music
Rocket Rec - Recreation
Cosmic Crafts - Arts and Crafts
VBS is open to ALL children, so please join us for an out of this world experience. Dinner is provided for children attending VBS and their parents/guardians. Cost is $15 per person, if registered by June 14, with a maximum cost of $35 per family. To register, please fill out the Registration Form and return it to Grace United Methodist Church, Attention – VBS, 3700 Cottage Grove, Des Moines, IA 50311.

OVERNIGHT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Monday, July 26 –Tuesday, July 27
For children who have completed 4th, 5th or 6th grade.
It is Vacation Bible School with a twist! We encourage all 4th, 5th and 6th grade children to join us on this outdoor Bible school adventure. The adventure begins when we depart from the church at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 26 and head to Springbrook State Park. After a full day of outdoor activities, we will get a good night’s rest at the Springbrook Cabins. On Tuesday, we will spend about half the day at Springbrook, departing just after lunch. Our trip home will include a stop at the Prairie View Bed and Breakfast for a swimming session in their pool. Arrival time back at the church is expected to be around 5:30 p.m. Please see the Schedule of Events and the Registration Form for more details. We hope you will join us and invite your friends to come along as well.
Cost is $35 per child. An informational meeting on Overnight VBS will be held on Wednesday, April 21 at 7 p.m. in the Confirmation Room of the church. Anyone interested in attending Overnight VBS and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.
