Childcare will be provided for all sessions of Bible Study 101. If you will be using the childcare, please include the number of children and their ages when you register.
The Grace School for Applied Christianity begins the six-week winter session with two class options (class specifics are listed below) on Tuesday, January 17. Childcare will be provided, if reserved in advance. Students attending the Grace School classes are also invited to attend the dinner that is served on Tuesday evenings as a part of our Free Clinic. Class options for the winter session of The Grace School of Applied Christianity include:
Blessed are the Organized: Exploring Public Life with Paul Turner – Something is not working well in America. What happened to the American Dream? What is the legitimate role of faith in these times? Can the witness of the church offer an alternative vision for change?
The Letter of James with Rev. Dr. Brigitte Black, Pastor of Bethel AME – Dr. Black has a wonderful way of opening the scriptures through story and study. She will bring to the Story of James new insight, and enable the student to apply this letter to daily living. Dr. Black presents Biblical material with humor and brings a fresh approach to faith.
The Grace School for Applied Christianity was created to provide opportunities for those who wish to deepen their faith through study and good conversation. Classes are designed to enable participates to connect their faith in practical ways with daily living.
If you have questions or would like to register any of the classes, please contact me via e-mail or by phone.
