Rev. Dr. Willy L. Mafuta
My motto of the month, “In everything you do, do it to the best of your ability”
As I watched the youth perform in the dinner drama, all I could think was
WOW. They have so much talent. The Apostle Paul in I Corinthians talks
about “gifts” or “talents” that God gives to individuals for the greater good
of the community. I am so thrilled that the youth of Grace are utilizing thei
gifts toward the enhancement of Grace and the community at large. Con-
grats to you, cast and crew of the Dinner Drama!
UPCOMING EVENTS
WE ARE COLLECTING LARGE CARDBOARD BOXES FOR OUR
YOUTH BOXING OVERNIGHT IN MAY. On the weekend of May 6-7,
we will spend the night outside on the lawn at Grace, to raise money and
experience firsthand what it means to be deprived of a decent home in
which to live, a social condition encountered by many youth
around the world.
APRIL 17, YOUTH RALLY. We will enjoy outdoor activities,
including music and roller skating. We will invite youths from our
neighborhood to join us.
APRIL 24. EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE @ 6:45 AM
MAY 15, YOUTH INTERNATIONAL MINI FESTIVAL. Several youth
from different countries, who live in the Des Moines area, will be presentin
their costumes, food and traditional dance.
Hope to see you in all these events.
Love you all,
Pastor Willy
