Overnight VBS
Thank you to all who responded to our appeal for more campership funds! We
exceeded our goal of being able to assist 5 more children to attend church camp.
We were reluctant to ask for additional funds because the congregation had al-
ready been generous with their campership giving. God bless you!
Children ofGrace - If you are just completing 4th, 5th or 6th grade, you are en-
couraged to attendOvernight Vacation Bible School on Monday, July 26 and Tues-
day, July 27. At 8 a.m. on July 26, we will leave the church parking lot and head
to Springbrook State Park for a couple of days of outdoor adventures, Bible Study
and plenty of fun. On Tuesday, we will return home after an afternoon of swim-
ming at the Prairie View Bed and Breakfast (owned
by Jim and Karen Sievers). Ex- pected return time to the church is 5:30 p.m.
on Tuesday. Registration forms and more information can be found at
www.gracedesmoines.org or pick up information in the narthex. We need all
registrations turned in by Wednesday, June 23. Call your friends and
